Jimmy Badavino was born in Troy, N.Y. He attended Green Mountain College in Vermont, and is married with three children. After The Fall of South Bridge was released in 2009, Jimmy began working on a second novel and multiple screenplays, including Making Soda Bread/The Legend of Ace Keating (2015), Theory of Technolution (2017), and Twenty Feet In (2019). In 2014, he released a Fifth Anniversary Edition of The Fall of South Bridge. He and his wife, Illustrator/Designer Christie Colangione-B, have also released many Children's books from their studio, Badavino Creative Studios, in Upstate NY, including The Santa Clock (2010), That's Why They're Called Punkins (2011), The Ballerina's First Dance (2012), Snow Day Surprises (2013), Touchdown For Nicky (2015), Socks Half On (2017), The Santa Clock Grayscale Coloring Book for children and adults (2018), and The Biggest Splash (2019). He is currently working on several children's books, and screenplays.
